Network Rail

Track Handback Drama

What was the brief?

Produce an impactful drama for a training course that focuses on the potential impact of an incorrect decision.

How did we do it?

As part of the development of an in-person training course focusing on the Network Rail track handback process, we created a drama that depicted a potential incident as a result of incorrect procedure.

The script was based on a real-life near miss incident, with the scenario and elements of the dialogue taken from the incident report. Filming took place in three locations over three days: a Network Rail training centre, a house, and Paddington Station. We cast four excellent professional actors as the main roles. While the finished drama is highly impactful and relatable, they also engage the project workforce whilst presenting underlying safety messages and specific learning objectives.
