Lower Thames Crossing
Charitable ContributionWhat was the brief?
While producing the Community video for BMJV’s Lower Thames Crossing induction, we offered to capture interviews and supporting footage that highlighted two local charities being supported by the project: New Life Wood and Thurrock Food Bank.
How did we do it?
During our time on location, we filmed interviews and captured a wide range of b-roll to showcase each charity’s work and impact. For New Life Wood, we focused on the carpentry workshop environment, the donation and reuse of materials, and how the organisation supports vulnerable and isolated adults by teaching practical skills and providing meaningful projects. For Thurrock Food Bank, we captured the operational side of the service, including collections, sorting and warehouse tasks and highlighted their ongoing need for local volunteer support. As a gesture of goodwill from White Hart, we produced two free social media promo videos, one for each charity, providing them with clear, engaging content they can use to promote their work and encourage new volunteers.
